Commercial Kitchen Fire Suppression Service for Restaurants
Xclusive Fire Protection provides on-site service for existing commercial kitchen and restaurant hood fire suppression systems across Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange counties. Our services include semiannual inspection and certification, ongoing maintenance, repairs, system modifications, post-discharge recharge, cylinder service, and fire department deficiency correction. We also provide new wet-chemical system installation and evaluation of older systems when appropriate.

Service and Maintenance for Existing Restaurant Hood Systems
Your restaurant hood fire suppression system is the most important line of defense in a commercial kitchen. We provide the full range of service it needs to stay reliable and compliant — from routine inspections to emergency repairs, new installations, and the cylinder testing that keeps your system legal.
Your restaurant also needs regular hood cleaning, which is a separate service from fire suppression. We do not perform hood cleaning, but we can connect you with independent hood-cleaning professionals serving Southern California.

UL 300 wet-chemical kitchen suppression systems
UL 300 is the fire-testing standard used for fire-extinguishing systems that protect commercial cooking equipment. Modern restaurant hood suppression systems use listed wet-chemical protection designed for today's cooking hazards, and NFPA 17A addresses the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of wet chemical extinguishing systems.
If your kitchen has an older, unknown, discontinued, or pre-UL-300 suppression system, we can evaluate what is installed and explain whether service, modification, or replacement should be considered. Learn more about our UL 300 fire suppression upgrade service.
Parts we service and replace
A kitchen suppression system depends on many small parts working together. We inspect, service, and replace:
- Fusible links and link lines
- Control cables and release mechanisms
- Nozzles and discharge piping
- Agent cylinders and tanks
- Gas valve shut-off connections
- Mounting brackets and hardware
